The digital onboarding framework by State Bank of Pakistan has opened up a plethora of possibilities to redefine and redesign an inclusive and user-friendly remote account opening & onboarding experience that requires minimum documentation and facilitates

Karandaaz Pakistan with its co-hosts PFN, PFA have organized the design hackathon to encourage the industry to rethink and re-design an experience that can win the Pakistani users hearts.

 When and where will Hackadesign take place?

The Hackadesign will take place from 13 to 14 January 2022 at the Hive at Karachi Clifton from 9 to 5 PM on both days.

 Who can participate?

Product Managers, Project Managers, UX Designers, Students and anyone who is passionate about improving the account opening and onboarding experience.

 Can I apply without a team? And how many members can be part of a team?

Yes, you can apply without a team, however, we encourage you to find a team member, the maximum team size cannot exceed four members.

 What exactly is the problem theme?

 Do I need any specialized skills to be able to design the best solution e.g. technology or tools?

No, you can design your solution on a piece of paper or on powerpoint, the judging criteria does not evaluate aesthetics or functional interactivity of the prototype, this is to encourage out of the box solutions that can improve the account opening and onboarding experience.

 When is the deadline to apply?

We accept applications until Monday, 20th December 2021. Keep an eye out for the confirmation email upon your successful submission;do check your junk/spam folder.

 When will the results of selection for invitation be out?

We will announce the application outcome through email by Friday, 31 December 2021.

 Can my solution be outside the Hackadesign problem theme?

No, your solution must be related to digital account opening and onboarding theme.

 How many winners will be there? And what are the prizes.

There would be one winner and one runner up. Cash prizes, certificates and shields would be awarded.
