Mehr is a Fulbright scholar and holds an MBA from Syracuse University's Martin J. Whitman School of Management (USA) and a BSc (Hons.) from LUMS. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) having vast experience in planning, implementing, managing, and controlling finance-related activities. Prior to joining Karandaaz, he was engaged in public practice as a sole practitioner chartered accountant providing various services included auditing, transaction advisory, financial and tax due diligence etc., primarily to the oil and gas sector companies. At Karandaaz, he is engaged in donor reporting, managing treasury functions, coordinating with auditors, and corporate compliance etc.

Ammar Habib has more than nine years of experience in the banking, capital markets, and energy space. Prior to joining Karandaaz, he was Head of Risk at National Investment Trust Limited (NIT), which is the largest Asset Management Company in Pakistan, where Ammar was a member of Investment Committee, managing more than PKR 100 billion of capital deployed in equity, and fixed income funds. He was Secretary of the Board Risk Management Committee, while also being Secretary of a committee formed by SECP for development of Exchange Traded Funds in Pakistan. In the energy sector, Ammar has advised on deals with ticket size in excess of USD 2 billion, working on projects ranging from coal mines, off-grid LNG, to solar lease solutions. Nasir Saleem brings with him over seven years of experience in the domain of risk management. Prior to joining Karandaaz, he has been associated with Askari Bank where he was part of Risk Management Group looking after Market Risk & Analytics, Data Analytics & Capital Adequacy under Basel Framework. He joined Askari Bank as a Management Trainee and grew to the role of Senior Analyst – Market Risk & Capital. Nasir has completed MBA and BBA specializing in Finance from NUST Business School.

Sadaf Riaz brings with her over four years of experience in the field of finance. Prior to joining Karandaaz, she has been associated with KPMG Taseer Hadi and Co. and has also worked at Telenor Pakistan. She is a CA finalist and brings with her extensive experience in auditing and finance.

Prior to joining Karandaaz, Nabeeha Saleem was working for two New York City based start-ups, Realicity New York and Werobotics USA that focused on robotics for development and PropTech respectively. She has also been associated with GSK Pakistan for 3 years in business development followed by a year working on a USAID Sports for Development Project, for Karachi United. Nabeeha has recently completed her Masters in Public Administration from Columbia University.

Saqib Sultan brings with him over four years of private equity investment experience in different sectors including, real estate, FMCG, and manufacturing across the UAE and Russia. Prior to joining Karandaaz he was working on the Investment Analysis & Reporting (Private Equity) at Zamwell Capital Limited in Dubai. He has completed his BSc Honours in Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, and is a qualified member of ACCA and UAECA.

Sharjeel Murtaza brings with him over 13 years of work experience in domains of IT strategic planning, enterprise solution delivery management, middleware and CRM implementations, infrastructure deployment/consolidation and enterprise-wide IT capacity building. Prior to joining Karandaaz, Sharjeel has worked with the Government of Punjab since 2016. He has also been associated with IBM Australia and Ascender HCM in Project Delivery and Governance domains.

Salah Uddin has recently returned to Pakistan after completing Masters in Global Policy from Boston University as a Fulbright scholar. Previously, he has worked at The Aman Foundation as a Management Trainee where he was involved in project planning and management as well as research. Salah Uddin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from IBA Karachi.
