ISLAMABAD, January 12, 2024: National Credit Guarantee Company Limited (NCGCL) will be the first- ever specialised market-based SME credit guarantee facility for enhancing SMEs’ access to finance in Pakistan, said Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, the caretaker minister for Finance, Revenue, and Economic Affairs, on the launch of Pakistan’s first specialised credit guarantee company for SMEs in collaboration with Karandaz.

Karandaaz Pakistan recently issued a white paper that explores the advantages of open banking and deliberates on its prospects in Pakistan.

Karachi, 20th November - Bank Alfalah, one of the largest commercial banks in Pakistan signed an agreement with Karandaaz on Thursday, 16th November 2023 to expand the female agent network in Pakistan. This partnership was signed in the presence of Salim Raza, Chairperson Karandaaz, Atif Bajwa, President and CEO Bank Alfalah, Waqas ul Hasan, CEO Karandaaz, Muhammad Yahya Khan, Group Head Digital Banking Group and other senior members of Bank Alfalah and Karandaaz.
