Position Summary
The incumbent in this role will assist the Company Secretariat in entity-level operational activities including support for new initiatives/strategic investments, donor reporting, compliances with regulators and Governance related work.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Company Secretary in new initiatives of Karandaaz and be a point person for liaison with KRN associated entities and subsidiaries
- Assist in implementation of KRN Safeguarding Protocols and ensure audit observations (if any) are effectively addressed and closed
- Coordinate within internal teams such as Finance and Administration for payments related to governance or KRN Memberships
- Effectively conduct maintenance and upgradation of central database of Contracts, agreements and entity level documents.
- Assist the Company Secretary in preparation for Board and committee meetings and preparation of working papers
- Assist the Company Secretary in maintaining a record of General Meetings, Board and Committee meetings as and when required.
Eligibility
Education & Experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Law, Business Administration, Finance or related field from a reputable institution.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience. Prior administrative support in areas of governance/HR/Finance for a donor-funded/non-profit organization will be given preference.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Understanding of the financial sector and an appetite to learn more
- Understanding of a not-for-profit organization
- Prior knowledge and experience of Oracle ERP systems would be an advantage
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent command over MS Office Suite and Google Workspace
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Attention to detail & ability to assimilate and handle large volume of information
- Ability to establish priorities, manage workload, follow through to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
