Assistant Program Manager, Corporate Investment and Credit

Report to: Chief Investment Officer and Head of CIC
Location: Islamabad

Job Description:

  • Prepare portfolio level analysis and reporting templates for Financial partners
  • Assist the CIO in research and analysis of potential equity investments and selection of financial partners
  • Monitoring and research of SME Finance landscape
  • Liaison with all Financial Partners for quarterly/ monthly reporting, including impact reporting (DFID annual and quarterly reviews)
  • Assist the CIO in completion of internal and external audit
  • Act as the Point of Contact for the CIC team to assist in internal and external audits
  • Facilitate in finalization of information sharing mechanism between CIC and Finance
  • Assist the CIO in preparation of working papers for Investment Committee and Board meetings
  • Work directly with the M&E team for effective monitoring of projects
  • Make sure that all the agreements/contracts are on track and compliant with the requirements from the donors
  • Maintain a central record of agreements and contracts signed by CIC
  • Assist the CIO in development of annual and quarterly work plans
  • Any other task as may be required

Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience required, preferably in corporate or commercial banking, Private equity impact investing or related financial sectors
  • Bachelor’s level degree required, preferably in business, economics, accounting or related discipline from a reputable institution
  • Strong skills in project management required with understanding of impact investing
  • Skills in building spreadsheets and financial models
  • Skills in report writing and Monitoring and Evaluation preferred
  • Prior work experience with international donors preferred, especially DFID
  • Strong coordination and interpersonal skills required with ability to work under tight deadlines
